Gorgeous location for camping in Iceland 🗺️

#campingfun I recently camped at Camping Höfn in Iceland, and it was a fantastic experience. Located just outside the charming town of Höfn, this campsite is ideal for exploring the Vatnajökull National Park and its stunning glaciers. The price was around 2000 ISK per night (about €13), which was a great deal considering the location. The campsite itself is well-equipped, with clean facilities, including showers and a cozy kitchen area. The views from the campsite are breathtaking, with the backdrop of the Vatnajökull glacier and the rugged Icelandic landscape. I enjoyed sitting by the campfire in the evening, taking in the serene surroundings. One of the highlights of staying at Camping Höfn was its proximity to the Glacier Lagoon (Jökulsárlón), which is about an hour's drive away. Watching the icebergs float by and taking a boat tour was an unforgettable experience. I also explored the nearby Diamond Beach, where ice chunks from the lagoon wash up on the black sand, creating a striking contrast. Camping Höfn offered a perfect blend of comfort and adventure, with incredible natural sights just a short drive away.
