Stroll through the Classical Ho Chi Minh City Museum 🚶🏻‍♀️

🇻🇳 [Spring 2023🌱 Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam] 📍Overall perception The light gray and white colonial buildings are quite conspicuous in the city and cannot be ignored every time you pass by. The building is huge and grand, adopting a Western classical column style. Looking closer, there are many fine portrait reliefs on the crossbar. The interior is classic and simple, the atrium is spacious and elegant, the two-story building is connected by a ring staircase, and there is a wide terrace on the upper floor. The managers obviously did not deliberately maintain and repair, and many parts of the interior were dilapidated, but not disgusting, but added a touch of vicissitudes of rhyme. 📍History and background The building was completed in 1890. Originally designed as a commercial museum, it served as the governor's residence and government headquarters during the war, and eventually became a museum in 1999. The exhibition covers the history and culture of Vietnam, including traditional crafts, household items, revolutionary history and more. Personally, I think the exhibition design is more loose and one-sided, suitable for travelers who want to understand briefly. 📍Little places worth paying attention to Revolutionary history, shelter basement, chandelier railing, floor tiles 📍Small surprise The day was so perfect for the newlyweds to take wedding photos 😻🤣 The bride wore a white chiffon wedding dress, the groom was a decent all-black suit.
