Ho Chi Minh ④ | Saigon's must-visit Notre Dame Cathedral & Central Post Office

After 11 years, I returned to the landmark buildings of Saigon, a must-visit spot, familiar sunshine and architecture, the aroma of baguettes🥖 and Vietnamese pho🍜 in the air. 1⃣ Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon⛪️ The pinkish-yellow Catholic church, located right opposite the Central Post Office, is currently under renovation and cannot be entered for a visit. It is considered a landmark building of Ho Chi Minh, built by the French, with a history of over 100 years, resembling the style of Notre Dame de Paris, and is the largest church in Saigon. I visited it 11 years ago and remember the interior being very exquisite. 2⃣ Central Post Office Built at the end of the 19th century, designed by the French, upon entering the post office, there is a statue🗿 of Ho Chi Minh, and inside, postal services are conducted. Around are circular seating areas🛋, and extending on both sides are stalls🛍 selling tourist souvenirs. The hand-painted map boards🗺 on both sides are quite special, with a cabinet clock🕰 on the left side showing the time in different places.
