【Finland】A church carved out of rock.

I visited the 'Temppeliaukio Church' in Helsinki, Finland! Built in the 1960s, this church was constructed by embedding it into rock. The interior space, with its natural rock walls, is truly breathtaking, showcasing a unique blend of nature and architecture. The ceiling features a steel dome, allowing natural light to stream in beautifully✨ Some parts of the rock still bear traces of being carved by glaciers during the Ice Age!! The circular, cosmic-like space is grand and awe-inspiring no matter where you look.
