The Aihui History Exhibition Hall is located on Sabusu Street, Aihui Town, Aihui District, Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province. It is located at the residence of the first Heilongjiang General's office in the Qing Dynasty, the place where the Sino-Russian Aihui Treaty was signed in 1858, and within the ruins of Aihui New City, which is now a national key cultural relic protection unit. The Aihui History Exhibition Hall was established in 1974. When it was first built, it was named Aihui Anti-Revisionism Exhibition Hall. It was later renamed Aihui History Exhibition Hall in 1979. The new hall covers an area of ​​about 120,000 square meters, and the main exhibition hall covers an area of ​​4,600 square meters. The building adopts a style that combines modern and traditional styles. The exterior is solemn and elegant, and the interior is spacious and bright. The museum is the only thematic relic museum in the country whose basic exhibition content is to comprehensively reflect the history of Sino-Russian eastern relations. It is also one of the first national patriotism education demonstration bases, one of the first national first-class museums, one of the first national national defense education demonstration bases, and a national AAAA-level tourist attraction. The Aihui History Exhibition Hall has rich exhibition content, using a chronological and thematic format, divided into multiple display sections, vividly reproducing the historical changes in the Heilongjiang River Basin and the evolution of Sino-Russian relations. Ancient History of the Heilongjiang River Basin: Shows that since ancient times, the Heilongjiang River Basin has nurtured its own outstanding children - many ethnic groups in northern China throughout the ages, who have jointly created the splendid culture and glorious history of the Chinese nation. History of Sino-Russian Relations: Focuses on the tragic history of Tsarist Russia's continuous eastward invasion and encroachment on Northeast China since the 17th century, especially the signing process of the Treaty of Nerchinsk and the Treaty of Aihui and their impact on China's territorial sovereignty. Modern humiliation and resistance: It shows the history of the Qing government's inability to defend itself and resist the invasion of its powerful neighbor Tsarist Russia in the second half of the 19th century, which led to the loss of large tracts of territory, as well as the indomitable spirit of resistance of the people in the Heilongjiang River basin. Special exhibitions: such as the diorama exhibition of "The Hailar Massacre", which reproduces the real historical scenes with strong visual impact and spiritual shock.
