Not wanting to travel far for a weekend family getaway, we opted for a city micro-vacation at this ancient-style courtyard hotel—the Shibage Grand View. Surprisingly affordable at just a few hundred yuan, the entire hotel is nestled within an urban garden, offering lush greenery that’s incredibly soothing! The hotel features several large public sculptures—proof that Chinese aesthetics are truly irresistible. So beautiful! We booked a lake-view king room, which was spacious, and the private scenic balcony was our favorite spot for relaxation. The hotel’s afternoon tea and breakfast spread were extensive and delightful. After a busy week, all we wanted was to unwind here without leaving the hotel all day! For those who love traditional Chinese style, this hotel is also perfect for photos. Every shot turns out effortlessly gorgeous—highly recommended for everyone!
