Ganga - Holy River of India

River Ganga is holiest River for Hindus all over the world. It originates from Himalaya from a Glacier Gangotri and flow multiple states of India. There are many towns settles on Banks of Ganga. Varanasi, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Pryagraj, Kanpur and many more. People travel to these town for pilgrimage and take dip in Ganga. It is believed that once you take dip in Ganga you will go to Moksh after death. There is a festival of ‘Ganga Snan,- Which is translated to Ganga Bath every year in month of January. Millions of people take dip in Ganga River. In cities like Haridwar and Rishikesh there are many meditation Centers on bank of River. I find Rishikesh and Haridwar Ganga very clean and calm.
