Five days and four nights in Harebin!

Although the peak season had passed when I went, it was still a beautiful snowy country! For Taiwanese people, snow is a rare sight. 🥹 So, even as the plane circled and prepared to descend, we were already excited when we saw the land from the window. 😍 Maybe it wasn't the coldest season when we went, so it wasn't particularly cold. It was sunny in the morning and there hadn't been any snow, but it did get colder as the night went on. Unfortunately, we couldn't go to Xuexiang because of a promotion. 😭 I was really excited to see all those mushroom houses and water-making ice displays online, but I have to say, the prices for tour buses to Xuexiang were quite high... The people in Erbin are very welcoming, barring some unscrupulous touts trying to squeeze in hidden fees. My friends and I were almost irritated by Xue. Apparently, knowing we were from Taiwan, they enthusiastically introduced us to local cultural activities, but then they took us to a facility and asked if we wanted to try it. We bargained a bit, thinking we'd made the trip anyway, so we might as well give it a try. Afterward, my friend saw the ice scooters and asked if we could get on one and take a picture. They said they could. We asked if we wanted to drive it. My friend happily went up and took a couple of photos. Just as they were about to let him drive it, I suddenly thought and asked if it cost money. Sure enough, it was incredibly expensive, practically exorbitant. We immediately left in anger 😤 It was really cold when we were taking the church photos 🥶 And that skirt wasn't keeping me warm at all, hahaha (I overestimated myself). I was shivering the entire time, but thankfully the photos turned out pretty good~😊 Although the trip had its share of hiccups, overall, Harbin is a place I'd love to visit again!!
