Hanoi Historic Site Tour - Imperial College (Confucius Temple)

The Confucius Temple in Vietnam was once the first institution of learning in Vietnam (Imperial Academy). It has five courtyards. The second courtyard leads to the third courtyard through the famous "Kuiwen Pavilion", which is the pattern on the back of the 100,000 yuan banknote in Vietnam. The Dacheng Hall in the fourth courtyard is where Confucius is worshipped with the inscription "Teacher of All Ages". There is a crane standing on a turtle on each side of the temple. You can touch the crane's wings from the bottom up to pray for blessings. The whole park is full of historical charm and you can take a leisurely stroll.
