The Hangzhou resort hotel everyone on WeChat Moments is asking about: Lin'an Xingquangu Resort

🏨Hotel: Lin'an Xingquangu Resort, Hangzhou The entire resort is made up of hillside villas (a few duplexes), with green mountains as far as the eye can see outside the windows (kids born on the plains have no resistance to this at all). It's perfect for a big family or a group of friends to vacation together, and the best part is the excellent value for money! Our group of 3 families shared a three-bedroom villa, and the cost per family was just over 1200 RMB per night. Besides breakfast, we also got 2 dinners for 6 people (the dinner portions were very generous; our group of 8 couldn't finish it all). Leisure and Entertainment 🏊Infinity Pools: Two infinity pools built on the edge of a cliff really boosted the hotel's score. Because they are so photogenic, many young ladies and aunties even climbed onto the pool walls to pose despite the lifeguard's warnings 🧜, a typical photo moment for Chinese travelers🤣 🛝Water Slide: The kids went back and forth countless times, and even the big kids couldn't resist sliding a few times 😅 👆Just these two features alone earned unanimous approval from the kids on this trip ❤️ Hot Springs♨️: During the National Day holiday, Hangzhou had a high temperature of 38°C, so no one was very interested in soaking in the hot springs and just casually tried a few pools. After all, hot springs are more suitable for when it snows, as Hangzhou becomes Lin'an in winter... 🌄Nearby Attractions The only place we went was Heqiao Ancient Town (not recommended). There were very few open shops on the old street and hardly any passersby. However, the river next to the town is quite suitable for summer water play (safety must be observed) ⚠️ We didn't visit any other proper nearby attractions because I came to relax at the hotel, and we didn't even try all the hotel facilities (the hotel's pet park was too half-hearted, so we skipped it)... 🚗Transportation: It took just over 3 hours to get to Lin'an from Nanjing (during the National Day holiday). Maybe because we left on the 5th, the highway wasn't as congested as expected. The hardest part to drive was actually the winding mountain road inside the hotel, with many sharp turns (experienced drivers in the group definitely needed to take over from the novices).
