During my short stay in Hangzhou, I chose a hidden gem homestay nestled in the Liangzhu Cultural Village—Wutaxinshe! The white pebble courtyard paired with bluestone paths had everyone on social media asking if I’d gone to Japan 🎋 The best photo spot is the tea seating area by the floor-to-ceiling windows in the lobby—the morning sunlight filtering through bamboo blinds is magical! Wear a plain robe or Hanfu for a perfect match with the scene. 🛏️ Rooms with Thoughtful Details Our "Cloud View" room had floor-to-ceiling windows facing a bamboo grove, waking up to birdsong 🌿 The bathtub by the window offers garden views while soaking (don’t forget bath bombs!). The toiletries are from a niche local brand with gardenia scent—way more refined than chain hotels! 🥢 A Culinary Retreat Must-try: the free-range chicken hot pot! Simmered in a clay pot for 4 hours, the meat falls off the bone. Breakfast is a nine-grid set meal, with freshly steamed osmanthus rice cakes as my favorite.
