Plum blossoms on Gushan Island are in full bloom

I have visited Gushan Island several times after the Spring Festival, and today the plum blossoms are at their peak. Looking from Beishan Road across the West Inner Lake, you can see a sea of pink. Under the pink blossoms, the place is crowded with tourists. The area around Fanghe Pavilion and to the east is where the plum blossoms are most abundant. There are several unique green plum trees by the roadside north of the pavilion, and a large area of red plum trees to the east of Lin She, among which a white plum tree is particularly lush. In the evening, when there are fewer tourists, it is the best time to enjoy the flowers. You can lay a mat on the lawn between the Plum Garden and the Autumn Moon over the Calm Lake, or set up a tent without ground nails. The seats by the lake are also a good place to rest. You can bask in the sun and watch the egrets flying over the lake, which is quite comfortable. The waters along the northern foot of Gushan Island to Xiling Bridge are a gathering place for a large group of mandarin ducks. They stand still or swim leisurely, making tourists feel relaxed and happy. At dusk, Xiling Bridge is still bustling with people and cars. The sunset near the statue of Chen Qimei is intoxicating.
