The snow on the arch of the Broken Bridge melts first, revealing the mottled bridge body, while the ice and snow on the shaded sides of the bridge remain white, as if the long white chain is broken here. Therefore, it is called "Broken Bridge Remnant Snow." People often say: "Sunny West Lake is not as good as rainy West Lake, rainy West Lake is not as good as moonlit West Lake, and moonlit West Lake is not as good as snowy West Lake." Broken Bridge Remnant Snow is the rarest of the Ten Scenes of West Lake.
