Lingyin Temple Tour

In order to complete a small walking tour of Lingyin Temple, Caishen Temple, Yongfu Temple, and Taoguang Temple, I stayed at a homestay near Beigao Peak. First, I used the Zheli app to get a permit for my car to enter the West Lake Scenic Area. After checking in to the homestay, I went to a Michelin vegetarian restaurant. The prices were reasonable and the food was good. The restaurant also arranged for me to do some calligraphy and handicrafts. After that, I was ready to start my tour. Since I was traveling with a child, I decided to take the cable car up Beigao Peak early in the morning, and then go down the mountain to visit Lingyin Temple and other attractions. If you don't go to the more distant places like Faxi Temple, you can complete the whole itinerary. I didn't have any romantic wishes to make, so I went to Caishen Temple first, and then to Lingyin Temple to fulfill my wishes and pray for the new year. The West Lake, especially the Lingyin Scenic Area, is quite large. If you want to visit it in one day, you need to be prepared for a lot of walking. As for those who want to visit all the attractions in one day, I don't recommend it. It's too rushed and you won't be able to fully appreciate the experience. Try to avoid holidays, and you'll have a much better experience.
