Xixi Wetland, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.

Xixi Wetland is a large marshland near Hangzhou. It is a national 5A-level scenic area, accessible by bus and subway. There are several entrances, with the main entrance at Zhoujia Village. We bought boat tickets at the Zhoujia Village Visitor Center and boarded the boat at Zhoujia Village Pier. The boat circled Xixi Wetland, stopping at Yanshui Fishing Village, Shentankou (the filming location of "If You Are the One"), and Jiaolu Tianzhuang, before returning to Zhoujia Village Pier and exiting the scenic area. It is best to disembark at Jiaolu Tianzhuang and visit Gaozhuang (which hosted Emperor Kangxi), Xixi Wetland Museum, and Xixi Paradise. You can then return to the scenic area with your ticket for the day and take the boat back to Zhoujia Village Pier. It is best to plan a full day here. Unfortunately, it rained all day when we visited, which diminished the scenery.
