Wow! Luniu Mountain has an elevation of 878 meters. For a family trip, it is recommended to enter from Sixi, which is closer to the summit and makes for an easier climb of 1-2 hours. The path is mostly stone steps, and the mountain is covered with lush bamboo forests, offering very fresh air. Due to its proximity to the summit, the Sixi entrance has a winding mountain road that requires slow driving due to the many turns. ⏰ Hiking time: Since I brought the whole family, including children and the elderly, it took us 2 hours from the Sixi entrance, with stops along the way and three breaks. If young people are hiking, I think it would be enough to finish within 1 hour. You can visit in any season. In April, the mountain is covered with blooming azaleas, in summer you can camp and enjoy the breeze at night, in autumn you can appreciate the golden autumn scenery, and in winter you can see the white rime. There are also specially built viewing platforms at the summit with very broad vistas. tips: 1. It's best to bring your own dry food and water for rest and replenishment while hiking. 2. There are no toilets at the Sixi entrance, and the ones at the summit are closed in winter due to damage from freezing, so take care of your needs before climbing, or you'll have to squat in the bushes. 3. Parking is free, and you can park anywhere along the road.
