Some people may be familiar with the label in many dramas that came to film at this place. 🥰 First of all, let me tell you the history and background. 🥰 Wat Inthawas or Wat Ton Kwen is located in Nong Kwai Subdistrict, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province (Hang Dong - Samoeng route). Wat Ton Kwen is an architectural style that reflects the beautiful and valuable Lanna art and architecture. Although it has been renovated, it still retains its traditional art. It is also the prototype of Ho Kham Luang, Suan Ratchaphruek. Wat Inthawas or Wat Ton Kwen is named after the guava tree that grows in the area where the current temple is built. Later, the name was changed to Wat Inthawas, which was named after the abbot who built this temple, Khru Ba In. According to the evidence recorded in Thai on the ceiling of the temple, it is estimated to have been built in 1858.
