Last weekend, I went on a trip to Handan with good friends. In just half a day, we were deeply shocked by this royal grotto! There are more than 4,000 statues and over 30 caves here. But unfortunately, many statues are incomplete; they have been seriously looted and lost overseas. In July, looking at each statue felt like traveling through the long river of history, seeing how this grotto has endured the vicissitudes of time and now stands before me. There is a shuttle bus directly to Xiangtangshan (departs at 8:30, return at 13:30, must be booked one day in advance).
