Let's Catch the Breeze in Halmstad: A Hidden Gem on Sweden's West Coast! 🌬️🇸🇪

#summervacay How did I stumble upon this city, you ask? Well, I passed through Halmstad on a trip to Gothenburg previously and told myself I'd come back to explore when I had the chance. And about half a year later, I actually did! This city is quite small; you can essentially see it all in half a day to a full day. Of course, I feel it's more suited for a leisurely holiday – if you're on vacation, then just go with the flow! 😉 Perhaps because it was a Saturday, there weren't many restaurants open. However, there are still some places to eat in the city center, like Thai food, burgers, etc. It's a good idea to check the opening hours on Google Maps beforehand, though they might not always be perfectly accurate. 😅 After exiting the train station, if you navigate towards the city center, you'll pass by the cathedral and the castle. Halmstad Castle: This 17th-century castle is located by the Nissan River and is a significant landmark of the city. When we visited, the castle wasn't open, so we could only admire it from the outside.
