A one-day tour to Hallstatt and Gosau

Because after going to Hallstatt, we will go to the town of CK. The study decided that Linz would be a more appropriate transit point. It can also provide a new idea for students who have limited time and want to visit Hallstatt and Gosau on the same day. First of all, it is recommended to buy an Upper Austria leisure ticket on OBB on the day of departure, which costs 19.9€ and includes 2 adults and 4 children (under 15 years old). It can cover the transportation needed for this trip. However, please note that this ticket cannot be used for RJ, RJX, IC and other types of trains. Because we went to Hallstatt on a weekday, in order to reach the town before the tour group arrived in Hallstatt, we had to buy a separate train ticket to Steeg Gosau if we departed before 9 o'clock. Apartment Müllerstiege is also a great spot for taking photos. Walk to Hallstatt Lahn and navigate to Ostrov pro koupání. Compared to Hallstatt, this place is quieter and you can take great photos with Hallstatt as the background. ③ Take bus 544 from Hallstatt Lahn back to Hallstatt Gosaumühle and transfer to bus 541/542 to Gosau Abzw Pass Gschütt After getting off the bus, walk forward to the famous Gosau sign. After taking photos, walk back along the mountain road next to the bank to the Pink Church. The scenery along the way is beautiful. You don’t have to climb to the church. Go to Gosau Wirtsweg station according to the next bus time. If you miss it, you will have to wait a long time. ④ Gosau Wirtsweg, continue to take bus 541/542 to the final stop Hintertal b. Gosau Vorderer Gosausee The first lake here is the most beautiful, the second one is the smallest, and the third one is the innermost. If you want to see all three lakes, it will take about half a day to hike, so just see the first one. It takes about an hour to go around the lake. The scenery is almost the same in the whole circle. If you don’t have enough energy, you can just take a quick tour around the entrance. If you want to check out the sculpture of a receiver that can receive the sound of dripping water, walk counterclockwise as it is closer. ⑤ Take a bus back to Steeg Gosau, then take a train back to Linz This itinerary does not cover the Hallstatt Salt Mine.
