Sierra Resort Hakuba Experience In September 2023, we departed from Hong Kong for an eight-day trip to Tokyo. Since we arrived late, we first stayed at Takasaki Station for one night. The next day, we took the JR train for about 4 hours early in the morning and arrived at Hakuba Station. right! It is Hakuba Village in Nagano Prefecture, a well-known winter ski resort. Although there is no snow in Happo-One in September, it is still a great place for mountain climbing! We took a bus from Hakuba Station to the cable car station, and then took the cable car to Rabbit Terrace Station/Kuro Ryodaira Station/Happoike Sanso Station. The view from the top of the mountain was very majestic, and the entire Hakuba Village was right at our feet! After going down the mountain, we walked from the cable car station to the Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal, where the hotel shuttle bus was waiting for us. It took about 20 minutes to reach the resort. Arriving at the resort, the hotel staff was very friendly and helped us check in. The room we booked did not include dinner, only breakfast, but don’t worry, the hotel provides meals at all times, including tea and snacks in the afternoon and midnight snacks at 10 o’clock in the evening! Although it's not very filling, it's enough to fill your stomach! In addition, the resort provides family baths with three types to choose from, limited to once per room. You need to fill out a form to select the usage time when checking in! Since we wanted to choose an outdoor private hot spring, but it was fully booked that day, we had no choice but to go bathing the next morning! Overall, the hotel facilities are very complete and have everything you need! There is a swimming pool, recreation room, piano, billiards, darts, and table tennis table for your use. In addition to the family bath mentioned earlier, there are also large hot spring baths and foot baths that can be used!
