You can at least take a nice photo with these black colored onsen eggs. The eggs are cooked in the hot spring water and it results in the eggs having black colored shell. This is because of the reaction with sulphur. These onsen eggs are perfectly alright for consumption. There are also other snacks too and one of them is the black color ice cream cone.
