The Hakone Open-Air Museum is a vast outdoor art museum in Hakone. The nearest station is Chokoku-no-Mori Station, about 30 minutes from Hakone-Yumoto Station. It's about a 3-minute walk from there. You can also get there by bus 🚎 The biggest attraction is that you can freely look around at about 120 unique sculptures in an open space surrounded by nature! Many art works are lined up in the middle of beautiful mountains and greenery, so you can experience art while taking a walk. Some of the art works can actually be touched or entered, so it can be enjoyed by a wide range of ages, from children to adults! The colorful glass tower and Picasso's house are also popular spots.
