Hakone deserves a recommendation! Playing it all in one day is not a dream.

Having experienced the hustle and bustle of Tokyo and Osaka, and seeing the ancient style of Kyoto and Nara, there are also some small towns in Japan that are worth exploring, among which I recommend Hakone the most. Hakone is about two hours' drive from Tokyo. You can take the Romance Express and transfer to the mountain tram to Gora Station. There are many hot spring hotels here, so it's good to choose any one~ We stayed at Setsugekka Hot Spring Hotel, which is known as one of the top 100 hot springs. The service facilities are quite good, especially breakfast and dinner are very rich, with kaiseki cuisine and beef hot pot to choose from. Private baths and public baths are both suitable for experience. There are also high-end and ordinary spas to choose from to help you relieve the fatigue of the day. In addition to hotel vacations, the attractions are also worth visiting. We basically walked the entire ring route in one day (as shown in the last picture), and the route is as follows: 1. Stop 1: From Hakone Shrine, take the bus to Motohakone Station and walk a few steps to see Lake Ashi. The shrine is right by the lake. It is small but quiet and elegant. You can visit and pray for blessings. There are also many blessing packages available for purchase, ranging from 500 yen to 1,000 yen. Remember to bring cash, as other payment methods are not accepted. Then you can go to the lake to see the torii gate in the water. 2. Stop 2: Atagawa Art Museum, walk along the lake. This is the most beautiful scenery, and it’s great for taking pictures. Especially when you enter the glass room next to the teahouse facing Mount Fuji, you can see the mountain surrounded by white clouds against the entire lake view. 3. Stop 3: The pirate ship costs 2,000 yen one way. Be sure to choose the first class cabin. There are not many people and the scenery is more comprehensive. Arrive directly at Taoyuan Terrace. 4. Stop 4: After arriving, take the cable car to Owakudani, where the magnificent volcano view is right in front of you. Eating a black egg soaked in spring water is said to prolong your life! 5. Stop 5: Take the cable car from Owakudani to Mount Soun and transfer to the mountain tram or cable car. After arriving at the Sculpture Forest Art Museum, take a walk around the Glass Tower and Picasso Museum. Tips: 1. The Xigua Card must be added to your wallet in advance. It can be used directly on basically all lines (except cable cars) and can also be used in convenience stores, which is much more convenient. 2. Many small shops in Hakone do not accept cards, only cash, so remember to prepare them in advance. 3. The scenery when going to the lake depends on the weather. Mount Fuji is even more charming in the sun. 4. Tattoos are accepted in Hakone Hotel Hot Spring, but no clothing is allowed in public baths.
