Dutch masters at Mauritshuis

Most people who visit The Netherlands and want to see some of the Dutch masters work end up going to the Rijks museum in Amsterdam. But, there's another great museum located in The Hague called Mauritshuis. Here you can find many good examples of the baroque paintings from the Dutch Golden Age. Famed Dutch artist Rembrandt features heavily, but the most famous painting here has to be the Girl with the Pearl Earring by Vermeer. The museum is located next to the Binnehof, which is only a ten minute walk from the central train station.
