The Christmas tree at Hokumon Mansion is decorated in the lobby with vintage American items. The decorations, which were collected bit by bit, are handmade and the lace and embroidery are really cute. When we checked in, we were served coffee in Hagi ware cups in the British-style lounge, and as we walked through the building, we came across a Japanese garden, and when we strolled through Hokumon Garden, where summer mandarins were growing, we were able to take a break at Hokumon Bunko Library, making it the best Christmas trip ever. It's an inn that I've always wanted to stay at, and I really enjoyed it. I recommend it for trips to Hagi.
