I took a day trip to this city from Amsterdam - the journey takes less than half an hour on the train! In this city, you’re rewarded with a smaller version of Amsterdam. You’ve still got the canals and the beautiful Dutch architecture. But you don’t have the crowds, and it makes for a much more laid back experience whilst wandering around. It’s also in this city that you can see some of the windmills that The Netherlands is so famous for.
