Sky-High and So Worth It

#summervacay Cheonhwangsan was one of those hikes that had me saying “whoa” every 10 minutes. The mountain’s up around 1,189 meters, so yeah, you’re in for a real hike, but it’s the good kind of challenge. The trail winds through peaceful forests, and then opens up into rocky paths with jaw-dropping views. It’s like nature was showing off. The vibe up there is super calm, especially if you start early. A few fellow hikers gave friendly nods, but for the most part, it felt like I had the mountain to myself. The summit? Unreal. You get this wide-open panorama of surrounding peaks and far-off valleys, kind of makes all the huffing and puffing totally worth it. There are spots along the way where you can chill, drink some water, and snap pics. Honestly, if you're into hikes that mix forest peace with rocky adventure and killer views, Cheonhwangsan is a must. Just don’t forget your snacks and a solid playlist!
