Small Mountain, Big Feels

#summervacay Exploring Mt. Gibak in Geochang was such a chill surprise. It’s not one of those massive, intimidating mountains, more like a friendly neighborhood peak that still gives you that satisfying “I did something today” feeling. The trail starts off nice and gentle, winding through forest with plenty of shade and peaceful vibes. Birds, breeze, and that fresh mountain air? Yes, please. As you get higher, the views start opening up and honestly, they’re kind of awesome for a smaller mountain. You can see across the Geochang area and get those classic rolling hills that just stretch out forever. It’s quiet too, not a lot of foot traffic, so it really feels like your own little nature getaway. The hike doesn’t take all day, which makes it perfect for a half-day adventure. Great for clearing your head, getting some light cardio, and just enjoying some solid mountain time without the drama. Mt. Gibak = underrated and 100% worth it.
