Unaksan: Rocky Trails and Sky-High Feels

#summervacay Finally hit up Unaksan Mountain, and did not expect it to be that awesome. The trail starts off like any regular hike, with some cozy forest paths and a nice breeze, but things get spicy quick. Lots of rocky sections, some steep parts, and a few “is this a hike or light climbing?” moments, but that just made it more fun. The views along the way are straight-up amazing. You keep getting these little peeks through the trees, and then suddenly, you’re looking out over ridges and valleys that go on forever. The summit? Super open and windy, with that “top of the world” vibe. Perfect spot to chill with a snack and feel like a mountain boss. It’s not a beginner trail, but if you’re down for a bit of a challenge and some big payoffs, Unaksan delivers. Plus, it's not overly crowded, which makes it even better. A little wild, a lot of wow, this one’s staying on my favorites list.
