Cheonmasan Peak

#summervacay Alright, Cheonmasan in Namyangju seriously brought the heat, like, your-thighs-will-remember-this kind of heat. The trail up to the peak is no joke. Lots of stairs, steep bits, and a few “why did I do this again?” moments. But also? It’s so worth it. The forest is gorgeous, super dense and green, with that piney mountain smell that makes everything feel fresh and alive. About halfway up, there are some solid lookout points where you can catch your breath and grab sneak peeks of the city below. And once you finally hit the summit? Boom, massive views of Seoul, surrounding mountains, and just miles of sky. It’s one of those peaks where you just sit, snack, and feel like a boss for making it up. Not too crowded either, which was a nice surprise. If you’re looking for a solid weekend sweat with serious nature payoff, Cheonmasan’s got you covered. Bring water, good shoes, and maybe some gummy bears for motivation.
