History, Forest, and Chill Vibes

#summervacay Spent the day hiking around Namhansanseong Fortress and it was the perfect mix of nature and history. The trails here are super walkable, some uphill parts, but nothing too crazy. You’re walking through forest one minute, then stone walls and fortress gates that feel like they came out of a movie. The views along the wall are solid, especially when you catch a glimpse of the city in the distance. It’s that wild contrast of old fortress vibes and modern skyline. Super cool. Lots of little lookout points to stop, chill, and snack. There’s also random history info along the way, so you kinda learn something without even trying. The trail loops around nicely, so you can explore different sections without backtracking too much. Met a few friendly hikers, but it never felt too crowded. Honestly, it’s a great spot for a laid-back hike with a side of storytelling. If you're into nature walks with a historical twist, Namhansanseong totally hits the spot.
