Let me help you to plan your Guilin trip

So many emotions after Guilin trip, wow, even it was over Chinese New Year and we were never alone… Let me share a short summary below, of what I found the best: 1. I suggest one full day for Guilin, all walkable (and hikable, if you dare). Absolutely not to miss Two Rivers and Four Lakes evening boat trip with great light show (and live show!). My pick for restaurant is Zen Sculpture Art Restaurant, if you find time to visit them, you will find out why 2. Longji Terraces is a must. Get a driver, you need two hours each way but it absolutely worth it, start early! Stop in minority village for super-long-hair show and try to leave it without buying a souvenir… Then go to Dazhai village and take a cable car, it is a bigger place. I suggest doing cable car both ways, then leave the 2nd half of the day for Pingan village. Second village deserves more time and more walking, including walking down. if you are a hiker or this is a top season, stay overnight and do two days there! 3. River Li Four Star 4-hour Cruise is the best to get for river+hills+20RMB views plus a nice lunch. Best you use this boat to transfer to Yangshuo to stay rest couple days there, otherwise you will enjoy 1.5 hour commutes later, like we did. 4. Silver Cave in Yangshuo is a must. Fantastic lights and views not to be missed. About 2 kilometers walk inside, not hard and so many wow moments, get your camera ready! 5. Peak Ruyi in Yangshuo is a best (and easiest!) way to get enough of top-of-the-mountain views. Good walks in between with good half a day needed for this all together. Can be crowded but the place is really big. Please enjoy the glass flour walks, they are fun, uh! 6. Guilin Romance Show in Yangshuo is a great way to get a nice performance in the evening (best shows starts then), buy a closer ticket and enjoy the show These are my top 6 picks, hope it will help you with your trip planning and let me know if I missed something big to come back ;) #planyourtrip
