Guilin Duxiu Peak Palace Scenic Area, also known as Duxiu Peak Palace Scenic Area, covers an area of 283 mu. In the early Ming Dynasty, King Jingjiang Zhu Shouqian built a palace under Duxiu Peak. The palace was 555 meters long from north to south, 340 meters wide from east to west, and 5.1 meters high. In the Qing Dynasty, it was changed to a tribute courtyard. During the Republic of China, it became the office of the Guangxi Provincial Government. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the palace finally became the Wangcheng Campus of Guangxi Normal University. The palace was destroyed by fire twice, and all the wooden structures were burned down. The existing buildings were rebuilt during the Republic of China, and the foundation and layout still retain the original appearance of the Ming Dynasty palace. The scenic spots include the city wall and four city gates, Chengyun Gate and Chengyun Hall, stone-carved railings and platforms, Guoxue Hall, Duxiu Peak, Crescent Pool, and Gongyuan.
