Spring Check-in at Guilin Seven Stars Park

Guilin Seven Stars Scenic Area is located on the east bank of the Li River in the center of Guilin City, covering an area of 137.4 hectares. It is named for the seven peaks that are arranged just like the Big Dipper in the sky, and it brings together Guilin's 'leisure (mountains green, water beautiful, caves wonderful, rocks pretty), romance, and passion.' It is the coordinate of Guilin's cultural landscape, a national key scenic spot, and one of China's first batch of 4A-level scenic areas. Seven Stars Park is almost a miniature version of Guilin's chronicles. After entering through the Flower Bridge gate, turning left past the Flower Bridge leads to Seven Stars Rock (admission fee 45 yuan). Visitors need to enter the cave in batches following a guide. The cliff carvings at the entrance are very rich, and the 'Fang Gong Ci Tang Ying Song Shen Qu' written by Ke Mengde is praised by Guo Moruo as a masterpiece of Song Dynasty official script. The cave tour is about 800 meters long, without retracing your steps. The park's landmark landscape is Camel Hill to the south, which is favored by tourists for its camel-like shape. Every guide passing by will emphasize that U.S. President Clinton once gave a speech here. From Camel Hill, heading west along the south trail of the park to Longyin Rock, the path is lined with ancient stone carvings and steles relocated from various parts of Guilin. Here, 'no wall is without carvings, and steles fill the forest,' preserving more than two hundred pieces of cliff carvings from various dynasties, also known as the Guilin Stele Forest Museum.
