First business trip at Guangzhou in 2017

#bucketlistreboot I still remember landing at Guangzhou and marveling at the city in 2017 which was my first business trip abroad. China was only mountains away from my country yet felt so distant due to language and cultural barriers. China was progressing rapidly whereas my country Nepal was still the same as some decades ago. Guangzhou city was huge, skyline was mind blowing and streets were full of cars. It was a unique experience meddling in a new city without prior experience or help from guides. Despite the busy and fast paced life, people made friendly gestures and tried to help whenever we were stuck. We were staying in CBD area on high floor and could see lives of city from the window itself. Unfortunately we couldn’t travel much in Guangzhou cuz we had limited time and almost all of it spent on Canton Fair alone. We assumed canton fair would only take a day or two but 1 week passed so quickly all day roaming around pavilions. We made sure we spend our spare time in the evening memorable by roaming around the streets, malls and having street food which was fun.
