On our very first trip to Guangzhou , we decided to experience 4 different hotels to celebrate my birthday with my husband. But only Jumeirah Guangzhou completely captured our hearts. A few weeks before the trip, Jumeirah contacted via Wechat to make arrangements for my trip. Their Guest Services promptly attended to our pre-trip requests and alleviated several of my travel anxieties. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were impressed yet again by their warm, friendly smiles and welcome. The check-in was effortless and smooth, and the hotel sent all our luggage and pre-trip online purchases to our room. Every interaction with the hotel staff really won our hearts with their genuine and thoughtful gestures such as sending a nice sweet dessert soup in a thermal flask every night; sending our food delivery orders personally to our room; reminders via wechat whilst we were out shopping to drink more water to avoid heatstroke. They provided us with ample bottled water for our entire trip and checked in with us when we were unwell. Small touches and gestures that warmed our hearts and truly made us feel at home in a foreign land. We were given a free upgrade, and the room was super spacious with a comfortable king-sized bed. It was equipped with a Bose Bluetooth speaker, Dyson hair dryer, and coffee machine. Our room also included one complimentary fruit plate and one round of free mini-bar drinks. There are a total of 2 pools in the hotel, indoor and outdoor, with the outdoor pool especially popular with children. As it was my birthday, we were also blessed with a decadently delicious creamy cheese cake. We also had breakfast included in our room package . Eggs were cooked on order, notably their eggs benedict with smoked salmon and caviar is the most popular choice. The buffet was small but comprehensive with a decent spread. Without a doubt, Jumeirah will be our most definite top choice for our next Guangzhou trip. #travel #china #couplestrip
