Grand Hyatt Guangzhou: A Pleasant Stay Experience in Zhujiang New Town 🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The hotel has excellent soundproofing, with quiet and cozy rooms that effectively block outside noise. The cleanliness is maintained at a high standard, with every corner of the room spotless and attention to detail, creating a reassuring environment. The hallway was also tidy at checkout, leaving a great impression. 🏘️Room Type/Layout: After booking a standard room, we were lucky to get upgraded to a garden-view room on the 7th floor, offering lovely park views. The room size is moderate, with separate areas for the washroom, toilet, shower, and walk-in closet—a unique and practical layout. The twin beds, though each is 1.1 meters wide, feature soft and comfortable bedding for a great sleep. A cozy sofa by the window and ample space for luggage add to the convenience. 🛌Amenities/Facilities: The room is well-equipped, including a spacious bathtub for relaxation. The TV is small but fully functional. The hotel boasts a prime location, with a serene and expansive park downstairs perfect for walks or runs, offering views of the Canton Tower and dazzling night scenery. The park's underground area hosts many unique restaurants, and an underground passage leads directly to the IFC Mall. Next door, the GT Land Plaza is incredibly convenient, connected to Zhujiang New Town Metro Station and filled with elegant dining options. The lively breakfast market on the B2 level in the morning offers a wide variety of Cantonese, Northeastern, and other breakfast choices. Additionally, the Grand Club is beautifully decorated, providing stunning views of the Canton Tower for a special experience. 💰Cost Per Person: The hotel offers great value, with weekend rates around ¥900. Rooms with breakfast for two are about ¥200 more than those without. 💗Other Tips: The hotel is easily accessible. From the airport, take Line 3 to Linhexi, transfer to the APM Line to Children's Center (requires exiting and re-entering), and walk 200+ meters from Exit A to the hotel's lobby on the 1st floor (main lobby is on the 22nd floor). Alternatively, walk to Zhujiang New Town Station for Lines 3 and 5. The APM Line reaches the Canton Tower in just a few stops. For those with luggage, a taxi to the airport takes about 50 minutes. Breakfast is a highlight—the spacious, bright restaurant offers a rich variety of dishes in an orderly setting. Signature shrimp dumplings are plentiful, and the egg tarts and French pastries are exquisitely crafted and delicious, with coffee served with latte art.
