Explore Liurong Temple, an ancient temple in Guangzhou

If you're planning a trip to Guangzhou, don't miss Liurong Temple, also known as the "Temple of Six Banyan Trees." I visit this temple every time I go to Guangzhou, and this is my second visit. This historic temple dates back to 537 AD during the Liang Dynasty. The temple is not very large, and you can explore the entire area in about 30 minutes. It features an octagonal pagoda standing 57.6 meters tall, built in 1097, making it one of the tallest pagodas in Guangzhou. Since I visited outside of the festival season, the place was very quiet, allowing me to peacefully explore the surroundings. It was a truly refreshing experience. 🚇 Metro: Gongyuanqian Station
