The entrance is marked only by a simple "Ling" character, rustic and understated. I might have missed it if not for the butler waiting at the door. ▪Stepping into the foyer feels like traveling back to the Republic of China era. The private outdoor courtyard features three distinct spaces combining leisure, relaxation, and a tea room, complemented by red bricks, black tiles, and lush greenery—utterly delightful. ▪The first-floor lobby has two communal areas with fireplaces, sofas, wooden tables, candlesticks, and vessels—every corner is Instagram-worthy! ▪The adjacent building's first-floor lobby houses a separate restaurant/bar space, and there's even a gym on the fourth floor! Well-equipped and highly private, the experience is absolutely top-notch! ▪With only 24 rooms, the homestay accepts reservations in advance only. Each room comes with a lavish chef-prepared breakfast for two, delivered by the butler between 8 AM and 12 PM—this detail alone deserves major praise👍🏻 Love it! ▪The rooms are stocked with wine glasses, corkscrews, teacups, tea sets, assorted sodas, mountain spring water, and mineral water—all complimentary! Bring your own bottle of red wine🍷 for the perfect touch! ▪Featuring bathtubs, separate bathrooms and showers, and spacious layouts, most rooms also include sofas—comfort and aesthetics are both on point! ▪Hidden surprises: Toiletries with Lingnan floral and bird prints, uniquely shaped combs, Cantonese opera mask pillows, Guangzhou enamel desktop decor, custom-made bathrobes—these details thrilled me as a perfectionist!
