Huafeng Temple is located on Huafeng Mountain⛰️. Although the mountain is high, it is not steep. The fog is filled in the rain. From a distance, the mountains are looming, as if a fairy palace is suspended in the clouds. As you step into the temple, you will see drizzling rain and strings of raindrops hanging from the eaves, like fallen necklaces from a fairyland. It gives you the illusion that it is snowing in the Forbidden City❄️. Sitting quietly under the porch, listening to the sound of raindrops and wind, worries and restlessness gradually melt away. This is truly a great place to soothe the soul! This ancient Lingnan temple was first built in the Tang Dynasty and was once a popular Buddhist holy place. However, wars and natural disasters have caused it to go through many vicissitudes. During the Anti-Japanese War, Huafeng Temple sheltered revolutionary patriots, but was eventually burned down by the Japanese invaders, and countless precious scriptures were burned. It was not until recent years that the ancient temple was able to regain its former glory. When you come here, you may wish to light a stick of incense for free in front of the temple gate and the main hall, and make a sincere wish in front of the Buddha statue; at noon, you can also taste vegetarian dishes for 10 yuan per person (served from 11:30 to 12:30) and experience the simplicity and tranquility.
