The Great Marshal Mansion, with its Western-style architecture, was originally built in the 33rd year of the Guangxu reign (1907), as a factory for the Guangdong Shimin Soil Factory. Designed by the German architect Panne, it was named after Sun Yat-sen, who established the Great Marshal Mansion here twice. The memorial is composed of two main buildings, north and south wings, with east and west squares, and gatehouses. The North Building showcases historical materials and exhibits related to Sun Yat-sen's three revolutionary governments in Guangzhou. The South Building features the "Great Marshal Mansion Centennial" restoration exhibits. The carefully designed and realistic setups reenact important moments from Sun Yat-sen’s life. Tips: Audio Guides: Free audio guides are available for rental, and there are also free guided tours (specific times can be checked through the official WeChat account). Stamp Collection: The South Building offers official stamped paper. Collect stamps from each floor, and after getting all 7, you can exchange them for a postcard at the visitor center.
