[Afternoon at Dongshan Lake | A quiet sunbathing place with no people, perfect for me]

Address: No. 123, Donghu Road, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou Sometimes I really want to find a less lively place to take a walk, hea, not necessarily to take pictures and check in so flashy, just want to sit quietly for a while, so I crashed into Dongshan Lake Park. There is no travel guide to Dongshan Lake, maybe because it really has a local feel, once I entered, I saw a lot of wild-fed ducks, old people playing chess, children riding bicycles, full of life, but gave me a sense of belonging. The park is huge, the lake is pretty, and there are plenty of willow trees drooping to the water, fantastic like a period drama. I wore a long white dress that day and thought I was doing a microfilm when I was sitting by the lake when the wind blew (laughs). Favorite is that the park is completely free, yes, zero dollars! But very clean maintained, the washroom does not smell (this point to praise), and there are a few wooden chairs perfect to get a book over to chill for a while. Walking until hungry, a few minutes walk out of the park entrance is Dongshankou, there are so many restaurants that you can dazzle, I chose a small coffee shop to drink a cup of latte as afternoon tea, leisurely to burst. There were no photo spots, no photos, but that’s why I was able to breathe, look at the sky, and daze in a very real way for a genuinely beautiful afternoon. If you are looking for a quieter space to relax, don’t want to force the subway or socialize, try Dongshan Lake. In the city, it’s not easy to retain a little bit of the slow-moving smell. #Canton Attractions
