The hotel itself was named Diaoyutai, but unfortunately it was never opened and was replaced by the owner's own brand, Mingquanju. The lobby of Mingquanju is simple and the background wall of the entrance depicts the prosperous scene of Guangzhou, a thousand-year-old commercial capital, and incorporates the colorful movement of the Thirteen Hongs Maritime Silk Road. The Lingnan roof murals are dotted throughout, highlighting the strong Lingnan cultural characteristics. The entrance adopts a "three-entry system" ritual design, which includes entering the mountain, passing through the courtyard, and entering the hall. Every step is a scene, interweaving the oriental elegance with the Maritime Silk Road.
