Traveling by subway in the city is very convenient, no different from Hong Kong. Very comprehensive, there are many walking streets, street food, Mala, there are many to choose from. The price is not much more expensive than in Thailand (much cheaper than Hong Kong)!! ☀️ This plan will be a 2-day, 1-night plan. We only stay for 1 night because it is a continuation of my trip from Hong Kong (traveling to Hong Kong and returning via Guangzhou). In this time, if you don't shop, you can visit all the landmarks in the city. Let's see. Day 1: 🌤️ 13.30 Check in at Spring Time Hotel, located at Yantang Station, Orange Line (a good hotel, cheap price, may be a bit far from Beijing Lu, which is popular among Thais. But from here, it is convenient to travel to the airport.) 14.00 Find lunch near the hotel. There are both local restaurants, KFC, McDonald's. 15.00 ** Actually, we planned to go to Red Factory, which we had already traveled there. We couldn't find it. We asked people around there (with Google Translate) and found out that it was closed during COVID, which wasted quite a bit of time. But it was a real local city tour. 16.00 Go to Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, located at Changshou Lu Station, yellow line. From the station exit, it's about 500 meters to Shangxiajiu. But there are a lot of food and shops along the way. The atmosphere is very good. We walked here for a long time, looking for something to eat. It was our dinner. 19.00 Let's go see the Canton Tower at night. Because they will have beautiful lights at the tower. Travel by train and get off at Zhujiang New Town Station, Orange Line. Exit the station and walk another 500 meters as usual. The view is very good. Must come. Many people, both tourists and locals, come out to this area. 🌤️ Day 2: 8.00 Go to take pictures at Guangzhou Opera House (**Must come here, very beautiful) Travel to the same place that we came to see the Canton Tower view last night, which is Zhujiang New Town Station. 9.00 Enter Guangdong Museum, opposite the Opera House. Free entrance, show your passport at the tourist service point. There are many floors inside. It is an exhibition about the history of everything about the cities in Guangdong Province. We walked around quickly. 2 hours felt too short, but there are other places to go. 11.00 Come to the building next door, Guangzhou Library. The building is beautiful. The interior is beautiful. When you go in, you have to be quiet. They really come to read books. You can't go as a group and have fun. 12.00 The basement of the area we visited in the morning has a shopping mall. Lunch, you can find something to eat here. 13.00 Go to Chen clan ancestral hall or what they call the Chen family house. Get off the train at Chen clan academy station, yellow line, walk up from the exit and you will arrive. This is an old building, authentic Chinese architecture, beautiful as usual. It is another landmark that people like to come to (I recommend this one because it is easy to get to, not much time consuming. Get off at this station, just come up and take pictures, no need to go in). 15.00 Go to Guangzhou secret heart cathedral, get off at Haizhu square station, purple line, exit the station and walk another 500 meters. It is a beautiful church, similar to Macau. There are many cafes and dessert shops next to it. Go and try it. 17.00 Dafo Temple is on Beijing Lu Road. Get off at Beijing Lu Station, purple line, not hard to find. I recommend coming in the evening to night to get a view of the temple when the lights are on. It is very beautiful. 18.00 Come out to walk on Beijing Lu Road to find food, souvenirs before returning to Thailand. Because this is a street that combines both food and shopping. Anyone who comes to Guangzhou must come here. 20.00 End the trip, go back to pick up the luggage at the hotel. 21.00 Arrive at the airport, wait for the plane to depart at Almost midnight 🗣️Additional recommendations: Tourist attractions in Guangzhou, even if the train arrives, it's not like you can get on and see it right away. Most of the time, you have to walk a bit more. Leave some time for this. The word lu means road. Sometimes there or in the app, they will use the vocabulary directly, including directions.
