Huangpu Ancient Port, a historical shipping port and ancient village with human fireworks, is located in Shiji Village, Haizhu District, Guangzhou. During the Qing Dynasty, the Guangdong Customs Huangpu Registration Port was established. During the "one-port trade" period, it became a must-pass port for foreign merchant ships and trade flourished. After the Opium War, due to the opening of more ports and the silting up of rivers, the trade status declined and the customs was moved to Cheung Chau Island.
