Guangzhou Ocean Park Family Trip Guide

🌟We went to Guangzhou Ocean Park this week, and it was so much fun! Today, I'm going to share some practical tips for taking your kids there! 📍Location: The ocean park is located on Xianlie Middle Road, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou. It's super convenient to get there! Take Metro Line 6 to Huanghuagang Station, Exit A, and walk 400 meters to get there! The "Zoo North Gate" bus stop is also not far away! ⏰Time: Remember, the opening hours are 09:30–18:30, and the last admission is at 18:00! Also, it's now reservation-based, so don't forget to make a reservation on the official account after buying your ticket! 🎫Admission: There are luggage storage lockers in front of the Turtle House, making it super convenient to store your belongings! 🐬Exhibition Areas: The ocean park has four themed exhibition areas, each of which is amazing! • Rainforest Adventure: The Turtle House, which kids love! • Fantasy Land: See the happy times of seals and sea lions! • Elf Bay: The dolphin show is amazing! • Future Sea: Sharks and belugas, as if you were in the underwater world! 🎭Shows: There are interactive shows in each area every day, each lasting about 10–15 minutes, so remember to check the time! • Sea Lion Fun: 10:30, 12:30, 14:30, 17:30 • Shark Dance: 11:00, 15:00 • Dolphin Romance: 13:00, 16:00 • Mermaid Fairy Tale: 12:00, 13:30, 15:30, 17:00 📸Photos: There are also performances at Harbor Wharf Square from 10:00 to 16:30, where you can take photos and interact with marine animals! But remember, don't use flash when taking photos, don't tap on the glass tank or touch the animals without permission, and take care of them! 🍴Dining: Hungry? There is a restaurant in the ocean park called Harbor Market. Although the prices are a bit higher than outside the park, the simple meals taste good! You can also bring your own water and snacks! 📚Science: There are science walls with marine knowledge around each themed area, where kids can learn a lot about protecting the ocean! 🛍️Shopping: There are power banks for rent at the cultural and creative souvenir shop and the visitor center, which is super convenient! There is also a self-service water dispenser at the visitor center! 💡Tips: • Enter the park early in the morning, when there are fewer people and the photos are more beautiful! • Watch the morning sea lion interaction first, as the outdoor venue will be very hot at noon! • Watch the dolphin interaction after lunch, and enter the venue early to get a good seat! • Be prepared for sun protection, and bring a parasol and a small fan!
