Hiking through Baijianghu.

Baijiang Lake is a forest park located in the northern suburbs of Zengcheng, Guangzhou. There is a reservoir on the mountain named Baijiang Lake, which forms a stream tracing hiking route. In mid-August, the weather in Guangdong was still hot and the outdoor experience was very poor. Thinking that this park with mountains and water might be more comfortable, I came here to stretch my muscles. This route is relatively simple. As you enter the park gate, you will start to see a wide stream with green trees on both sides and clear water. Many parents bring their children to play in the water here, making it a parent-child paradise. After arriving at the Shuiong Scenic Area, the road began to become narrow and steep. The Shuiwo Scenic Area is named after the many Shuiwo trees here. It is connected to Baijiang Lake in the upper part and Zengjiang River in the lower part. There are many scenic spots along the way, such as Eagle Pond, Jade Rabbit Stone, Sword-Testing Stone, Jade Dragon, Baizhang Waterfall, Natural Bathtub, etc. Although there were streams along the way, the valley was airtight and the temperature was high, so the climbing process was not as comfortable as I had imagined. Especially when I reached the dangerous places, I was sweating profusely. Fortunately, there are many trees, which block the scorching sun. There is a flat area halfway up the mountain, called the Beach Play Area, where you can finally take a break and relieve your fatigue. After a short stop, we continued towards Baijianghu. This is a wooden plank road with a relatively flat surface, making it much easier to walk on. We soon saw Baijiang Lake on the top of the mountain. Baijiang Lake is very large, and the water is clear and green. It looks particularly beautiful under the reflection of the blue sky and white clouds. There is a waterfront boardwalk along the lake, and the gentle breeze is refreshing. We walked along the plank road to the other side of the lake and found stone steps to continue up the mountain. When we climbed to the side of the road, we found that there was an RV camp hidden in the mountains, but I heard that it had been abandoned. There is a valley of flowers nearby, but when you walk in you see all the flowers are withered, and it looks like they haven't been taken care of for a long time. However, there are several large rocks in the dense forests of the mountains, and clear springs flow over the rocks, which is a great place to play in the water. Jumping into the clear stream, a cool air goes from the soles of your feet straight to your whole body, and the summer heat disappears immediately, making your whole body feel comfortable. There is a Shenshan Pavilion on the mountain next to it. It only takes a few minutes to reach the top and overlook the beautiful scenery of Baijiang Lake. It is indeed a magnificent view.
