Huadu Stream Tracing Chill Spot

Just over two hours from Shenzhen, and ten minutes off the highway. The hotel is quite comfortable, with many thoughtful details. The staff is very nice, always ready to help and respond promptly. Three families with four kids arrived and rested in the room before heading to the hotel's stream tracing activity. In the evening, you can choose between barbecue or hotpot. We brought our own hotpot ingredients. It would be great to have cooler weather for outdoor barbecues. The outdoor area has a campsite barbecue, with trampolines, slides, and swings for kids aged two to six. Nearby Butterfly Valley is also great for stream tracing and water fights for older kids. We only found out about it before leaving. The area is close to nature and simple, which I personally like. There are streams, lawns, and a science museum (though it doesn't have many exhibits, which is understandable given the low visitor numbers and the resources needed to maintain it). For our two to three-year-olds, looking at pictures and learning is still okay. Staying at the hotel means no entrance fee, which is nice.
