Weekend Getaway 21 | Nanping Serenity Town - A Cool Retreat for Summer Heat!

Shenzhen's summer is not only hot but also humid, and every weekend I find myself wondering where to go for some cool relief? I recently discovered a hidden gem: Nanping Serenity Town's Fengxi Water Play Area, where you can have fun all day long❤️ Nanping Town is located in Conghua, and it takes over two hours to get there from Shenzhen. The entire scenic area is built along the river, with pedestrian trails on both sides. Along the way, you see a lot of people swimming, soaking their feet, and having water fights, with kids playing so intently they forget themselves. There are also unique activities like underwater mahjong and barbecue, which are incredibly fun. At the very top, there's a waterfall, which is not very crowded and can be considered a hidden gem. Serenity Town is truly a treasure for beating the heat, where you can spend the whole day for free🆓. I highly recommend it👍
